India, Sept. 23 -- Normal rainfall has been recorded in 24 districts of the State from June 1 to September 22 during the current monsoon. There are 27 districts in the State which have received below normal rainfall. Till date 744.6 mm normal average rainfall has been recorded in comparison to average rainfall of 910.5 mm of the State.
Districts where normal rainfall is recorded include Katni, Chhindwara, Seoni, Rewa, Singrauli, Indore, Dhar, Jhabua, Khargone, Badwani, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Ujjain, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Ratlam, Dewas, Agar-Malwa, Guna, Ashok Nagar, Bhopal, Sehore, Rajgarh and Betul.
Districts where below normal rainfall is recorded include Jabalpur, Balaghat, Mandla, Dindori, Narsinghpur, Sagar, Damoh, Panna, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Sidhi, Satna, Shahdol, Anuppur, Umaria, Alirajpur, Shajapur, Morena, Sheopur, Bhind, Gwalior, Shivpuri, Datia, Raisen, Vidisha, Hoshangabad and Harda.
