Jammu, Aug 18: The annual Machail Yatra of Mata Chandi today left for holy Machail Mata Mandir after Thali Poojan Ceremony was performed on yesterday at Shri Maha Lakshmi Mandir, Pacca Danga, Jammu. Sarv Shakti Chandi Mata Mandir Sanstha performed Thali poojan yesterday in presence of various religious leader takign out a procession. Holy "Machail Yatra" left from Maha Laxmi Mandir, Pacca Danga and will reach Sarv Shakti Chandi Mata Mandir Chinote, Bhaderwah , the Base Camp of Machail Yatra tomorrow wherefrom the Pious Chharri of Mata Chandi will be taken on 18th of August, 2018 towards Machail, the abode of Godess Chandi.
Interacting with Media, Sanjay Gandotra, President, Sarv Shakti Chandi Mata Mandir Sanstha said," We are blessed with Maa Chandi's blessings. Yatra has seen an overwhelming response with over One lakh yatris. We are thankful to state administration for security and civil arrangements".
It is to be mentioned that the Machel Mata yatra, the annual pilgrimage to Goddess Durga's shrine in Machel village of Kishtwar district, has already crossed the one-lakh mark. Vinay, a yatri said," I am here to pay obescience for the fifth time with my family. Mata Rani blessed with everything I wished for.".
While State Administration has assured necessary civil and security arrangements for all the pilgrims who are to perform darshan at holy Machail Mata Mandir.
