Much has been said about Meghan Markle's engagement to Prince Harry, with the couple gearing up for the nuptials, set to take place on May 19.
Being part of the Royal family is not easy. As someone representing the Royal family, one has to constantly abide by the strict Royal protocol.
Meghan, who has already become an active part of the Royal family, also had to make adjustments in her personal life. She had to move to a different continent, give up her career in acting, and her social-media account was deleted, all as part of the Royal tradition.
Life as a Royal is difficult to cope with, and that's what might make Meghan ''bolt'' from her marriage with Prince Harry, believes feminist author Germaine Greer.

Greer slammed the former actress in a television programme, called 60 Minutes, for having given up too much of her self for her relationship with Prince Harry.
The monotony of the Royal family might soon seep in, said Greer. ''She [Meghan] will see vistas of boredom that are unbelievable,'' she was quoted as saying by Daily Mail.
''I think the pressure to escape from the firm [the Royal household] is crushing...I think she'll bolt,'' added Greer.

The author also went on to suggest that Meghan might have chosen Prince Harry for his money. ''Why would a girl born in poverty marry a man worth 53 million quid (Rs 4,96,26,55,000) ? I can't think of single reason,'' she said.
While a lot of people have critiqued Meghan's decision, Meghan seems to be quite happy about her ''new chapter'' with Prince Harry.
During the couple's first official interview after their engagement, Meghan had said, ''I don't see it [entering the Royal family and giving up her career] as giving up. I see it as a change. It's a new chapter.''
Whether Meghan will be able to cope with the Royal family, will only be known after her marriage.
