New Delhi, Dec 7 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday targetted Congress party for being indifferent to Dr BR Ambedkar, Dalit icon and chief architect of the Indian Constitution, whose contribution had been far more than the family for which this had been done.
Speaking after dedicating the Dr Ambedkar International Centre to the nation, Mr Modi, stepping up his attack against the Congress, said attempts to erase Babasaheb Ambedkar's contribution had failed because 'he has been more influential in the minds of people, much more than the family (Gandhis) for which all this was done."
Elaborating, he said it took 23 years to complete this project for which he blamed the Congress Governments for the delay.
