Pia Wurtzbach is tasked to cover the annual NBA All-Star event in Chicago, Illinois on Sunday.
The NBA All-Star is an exhibition game wherein 24 players are divided into two groups to compete.
“I’ll be representing the Republika during the NBA All-Star Weekend, and I’m just so excited,” said Pia in a video announcement posted by NBA Philippines.
The Filipino beauty queen promised to be “your eyes on and off the court.”
“I promise to work hard, just like ‘The King’ LeBron James, in posting highlights and result,” she added.
Lebron, 35, is the power forward of Los Angeles Lakers. He is known to be one of the greatest basketball players of all time.
On Instagram, Pia proudly shared several NBA All-Star 2020 merchandises. In another post, she was seen wearing T-shirt from the NBA Philippines.
