Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati could hardly hide excitement as their wedding draws near.
In an episode of “Magandang Buhay,” Sarah shared what makes her more ecstatic is the idea of their respective families and friends coming together for the celebration.
“Para sa akin napaka-importanteng bagay ‘yon na pupunta sila rito all the way kung saan man sila galing. My dad, mga kaibigan ko since bata pa ako, ‘yung pamilya ni Chard from abroad, ‘yung mga kaibigan namin. Basta ‘yung family magkakasama kami in one day, napaka-espesyal dahil ang laki ng family ko, ang angkan nila Chard from Cebu and all over the world. So very, very exciting,” she said.
Sarah went on to thank her soon-to-be-husband for being hands-on with the preparation. Richard, on his part, quipped that he doesn’t want her to be a “bridezillla.”
The actress admitted she’s also having wedding jitters. Nevertheless, Richard promised it will be a “special day.”
“Finally we are going to get married tapos nandoon ang lahat ng mga mahal namin sa buhay. Ngayon pa lang parang nakaka-excite na pero at the same time nervous, kasi lahat ng attention, lahat ng tao, ay nakatingin sa iyo. Pero more than anything I will enjoy that day with Sarah,” Richard said.
The couple got engaged in 2017. They have two sons, Zion and Kai.
The wedding is on March 2020 in Manila. No exact date has been revealed as of press time.
